Tuition and Fees (2020-2021)

Upon acceptance to the School of Equipping (SOE), a non-refundable deposit of $15.00-$45.00 (varies according to financial responsibility; see tuition table for more information) must be paid within 30 days of receiving notification of acceptance to secure enrollment for the upcoming academic term. Upon completion of all required registration and enrollment requirements, tuition and fees (minus the deposit) will be due to the SOE according to the pre-determined, pre-enrollment financial contract established which includes, but is not limited to cash accounts, scholarship recipients, work study and assistantship accounts.

Tuition in each category is reduced by 25% for prospective students and returning students whom are registered in another degree seeking program. Students are required to submit verification of secondary institution registration and attendance to the Office of Admission to receive the tuition reduction. Verification must be received prior to the first day of class or students forfeit the reduced tuition rate for the academic term.

MISCELLANEOUS Fees

Identification Card Fee


All registered students must have an identification card. A one-time Identification Card fee of $6.00 is required. This fee is included in the tuition cost for all students. There is a fee of $10.00 for the replacement of lost identification cards.

audits

There is a $25.00 non-refundable fee per course audited. Students and non-students may audit classes for the purpose of personal, intellectual and spiritual enrichment and enhancement. Course credit is not given for attending audit classes or for the completion of any assignments. Audited classes cannot fulfill registered course program requirements. No official documentation of audited classes will be given at any time.

refunds

Students may drop (cancel) a credit course and receive 100% refund of money paid within the schedule cancellation period. There are no refunds after the cancellation period has expired. Students who register for a course and decide not to attend are responsible for officially dropping the course prior to the end of the cancellation period. A Course Cancellation Form must be completed and submitted to the Office of Admission. The Course Cancellation Form will be available online at a later date.

FINANICAL AID

WORK-STUDY

Work-study may be offered on an as needed basis to those individuals whom have expressed the need for financial assistance. Work-study opportunities will be considered on an individual basis and will be awarded based upon demonstration of financial need as well as current service in his or her local assembly. To be eligible for Work-study, the student must agree to enroll in and complete a minimum of 9 credit hours of instruction. These hours can be completed concurrently or consecutively.

 

Work –study offers an opportunity for students to work in a professional environment in administrative roles within ministry in exchange for a reduced tuition for the SOE.

 

*Reduced tuition under Work-study is applied in addition to any other rate reductions for which the
student may qualify.


*Work-study reduction is applied weekly post instructional verification that student meets class attendance and participation requirements.

PAYMENT PLANS

Students will be allowed to schedule payments for tuition balance. Payment Plan Contract duration will be offered on a
weekly and bi-weekly basis not to exceed 6 weeks. Payments will be accepted in the form of cash, money order, check and debit/credit card via the Office of Admissions. Online payments will be available soon!

SCHOLARSHIPS

Students whom have demonstrated academic excellence have the opportunity to apply for
various scholarships each term. Recipients of each scholarship will receive award money applied
to his/her next SOE billing statement. For more information on scholarships offered, please
request a Scholarship Packet from your Site Coordinator or Course Mentor.

TEACHING ASSISTANTSHIPS

Any student who has successfully completed any course, which includes passing the end of course competency exam, is eligible to request a Teaching Assistantship through SOE. Teaching Assistantships allow currently enrolled students to instruct courses he/she has completed in exchange for a TA (Teaching Assistantship) tuition rate for classes in which he/she is currently enrolled. This program requires each Teaching Assistant observe 2 classes (the class in which he/she will be certified to instruct), and be observed teaching 2 classes to qualify for the TA tuition rate.
